2023 Gravel Loading and Hauling Stockpiled Aggregate

1. The undersigned being familiar with the local conditions affecting the cost of the work, hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials and equipment required for the loading and hauling of stockpiled material. The Contractor will be paid for the performance of the work according to the following schedule of units and unit prices for loading and hauling distances of which is set forth below, as follows: 2. Contractor will only be paid from pit location to job location as per bid amount. There will be no mobilization or demobilization fees paid by Mountrail County for the loading and/or hauling of stockpiled aggregate. 3. Contractor will be responsible to haul within the legal weight limits of all roadways involved, either posted or thru North Dakota Century Code. All travel must be in compliance with all NDDOT regulations. 4. The contract will be awarded on the lowest bid as submitted and based on the contractors availability at the time of need by Mountrail County. Contractor agrees bid is valid for a period of one year from bid acceptance unless a thirty (30) day written notice is sent to the County Engineer, PO Box 275, Stanley, ND 58784 to withdraw such bid. Contractor will be obligated to bid price for any job award(s) prior to withdrawal. 5. In submitting this bid it is understood that the right is reserved by the owner to reject any and all such bids and to waive irregularities. 6. No bid security will be required with the Bid. 7. Certificate of current Liability Insurance due at bid time, updated Certificate of Insurance with Mountrail County listed as Certificate Holder will be required PRIOR to any work being awarded. (Copy of most recent Liability Insurance must be included.)
