Description | The following is a "Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor where the Basis of Payment is a Stipulated Sum, "AIA Document A101-2017, along with Exhibit A - Insurance and Bonds, is bound with this Section. AIA Document A101-2017 is a standard form of agreement between Owner and Contractor for use where the basis of payment is a stipulated sum (fixed price). AIA Document A101 adopts by reference, and is designed for use with, AIA Document A201-2017, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction.The Work of this Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Construction of new 10,000 square foot, single story, pre-engineered metal building for Town Hall (office space) and vehicle storage. General Construction (including site work), Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical work. Project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts. See Division 01 Section "Multiple Contract Summary" for a description of work included under each of the multiple contracts and for the responsibilities of the Project Coordinator. The Contractor shall fully execute the Work described in the Contract Documents, except as specifically indicated in the Contract Documents to be the responsibility of others. This Item describes the Public Work Enforcement Fund (the Fund, PWEF) and its relevance to State agencies and public benefit corporations engaged in construction or reconstruction contracts, maintenance and repair, and announces the recently-enacted increase to the percentage of the dollar value of such contracts that must be deposited into the Fund. This item also describes the roles of the following entities with respect to the Fund:New York State Department of Labor (DOL),The Office of the State of Comptroller (OSC), and State agencies and public benefit corporations. New York State Labor Law, Article 8, Section 220.3a requires that certain information regarding the awarding of public work contracts, be furnished to the Commissioner of Labor. One "Notice of Contract Award" (PW 16, which may be photocopied), must be completed for each prime contractor on the above referenced project.Upon notifying the successful bidder(s) of this contract, enter the required information and mail OR fax this form to the office shown at the bottom of this notice, OR fill out the electronic version via the electronically ..
