3. For Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services for Parish Facilities (RFP-2023-PW-138). 5. At the time of contract execution, the successful Proposer shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the appropriate amount as defined in the Request for Proposal documents. 6. Proposals shall be accepted only from contractors who are licensed under LSA-R.S. 37:2150-2164 for one or more of the classifications as follows: Specialty: Hazardous Waste Treatment or Removal; or Specialty: Non-Hazardous Waste Treatment or Removal; or Specialty: Garbage & Debris Disposal, Trash Chutes; or Municipal and Public Works Construction. 7. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. 8. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury shall incur no obligation to the Contractor/Proposer until the Contract between the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the Contractor/Proposer is fully executed. 9. Minority owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to participate.
