Design Services for Rehabilitation of Pool Houses

The City of Poughkeepsie is requesting design firms (Registered Architectural and/or Professional Engineering Firms) to provide design services for the rehabilitation of pool houses. The rehabilitation project will be funded with funds provided by American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 with the City of Poughkeepsie as the sponsor. The proposed project will rehabilitate the existing pool houses at Spratt and Pulaski Park per the Final Design Concepts prepared by Saratoga Associates and dated September 28, 2021 (Exhibit 1). The project is intended to enhance the quality of the swimming facilities for the users at Spratt and Pulaski Parks. The City Engineering Department has assessed the building condition of each of the bathhouses in order to make a decision to renovate or eliminate each one. The conclusion was to renovate the bathhouse at Spratt Park and demolish and replace the facility at Pulaski Park.
