| Description | Building is a one story metal building with perimeter concrete tilt-up panels and a slab on grade foundation. The concrete tilt-up panels are joined together with steel plates welded to embed plates at the edges of the panel. The panel is joined at three locations and two of them are experiencing an edge shear failure due to the horizontal force exerted by the embed plate studs. There appears to be a slight movement on the foundation at the South-West corner of the building. The steel plates that are currently joining the panels are welded to both sides of the panel not allowing for the concrete to expand and contract freely. | ||||
