Early Learning Center East (ELC-East) Earth Shelter Roof Replacement - Clarke County School District

As of August 17, 2023, construction is underway and expected to be complete by Fall 2023. The Clarke County School District is inviting individual proposals from qualified subcontractors to provide labor, materials and services necessary for the following divisions of work including but not limited to: 1. Selective demolition, 2. Site work, 3. Roofing, Flashing, Coping, Gutters and Downspouts, 4. EIFS, 5. Mechanical, Electrical This work is necessary for Roof replacement for the Early Learning Center Eastside Earth shelter structure at the former Old Gaines Elementary project. This project will consist of approximately 13,000 square feet of roof replacement and 6000 square feet of EIFS installation. The Earth Shelter is covered with approximately 3 feet of dirt and will have to be removed as part of the roof replacement work. The work is scheduled to start July 6 th and be substantially complete by August 1, 2023. The contract, if awarded, will be on the basis stated in the Request for Proposal and Bid Specifications. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
