Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility (CJCF) Program Building

The primary intent of this project is to provide the Department of Youth Services (DYS) with a Program Building at the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility (CJCF) which will support operations & security of the new six housing buildings constructed through a separate project. The Program Building will be developed through new construction and renovation of one of the three existing housing units. The project will consist of, but is not limited to, the following three primary scopes: 1. Existing Housing Unit #1 a. Update all interior finishes (flooring, paint, fixtures, lighting), b. Update mechanical / HVAC systems for entire unit as needed, c. Update existing camera, duress, and door control system to match new housing units, d. Update youth day room and office furnishings 2. Existing Housing Unit #2 a. Complete a partial renovation of the 1st half of housing unit #2 into the new Program Building i. Structural and masonry design to support new office layouts, ii. New ceilings, lighting, doors, hardware, windows, fixtures, electrical, communication, iii. Addition of a new Operations Office (see additional scope details) with increased campus visibility, iv. Addition of a new gymnasium, b. Update all interior finishes on the 2nd half of housing unit #2 (flooring, paint, fixture, lighting), c. Upgrade mechanical/HVAC systems for entire housing unit #2 as needed, d. Update existing camera, duress, and door control system to match new housing unit, e. Update youth day room and office furnishings 3. Existing Housing Unit #3 a. Demolish & haul off entire unit, b. Grade & re-seed, c. Addition of a 25 yd x 45 yd sports utility field with 12? fence
