6399 Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Substation Painting Program

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority by and through the MTA Construction & Development Company will be issuing an Invitation for Bid ("IFB") seeking entities to provide painting services for the Long Island Rail Road Substation Painting Program at five locations. The primary object of the Substation Painting Program is to help maintain a portfolio of Long Island Rail Road ("LIRR") substations in a state of good repair. This painting project will reduce maintenance, support safe LIRR operations and prolong the life of substation structures located along the LIRR's Right-of-Way (ROW). Respondents with current contracts to perform work on MTA projects must be in good standing and satisfactorily progressing the work on such contracts to be deemed qualified to participate in the solicitation for the Contracts. This is an A+B type contract.
