324 Huff St. Harbor Safety and Enforcement Office Docks

Award: Coastal Piers and Docks LLC. in the amount of $114,834.49 The City of Aransas Pass seeks proposals from vendors to construct dockage and boat lifts at the Harbor Safety & Enforcement Office (324 Huff St.). The city reserves the right to reject all bids, close the bid without prior notice, or award the bid to a party other than the lowest bidder. The dockage along the bulkhead shall be no less than 8 feet wide, with at least one catwalk being no less than 6 feet wide, others at least 4 feet wide. The dockage shall include a landing off of the surface of the top of the bulkhead with a ramp down to the main deck; this shall be sufficient width to allow for the safe passage of a stretcher and equipment loading and unloading. The height of the main deck shall be at a height from the surface of the water to permit safe loading and unloading of persons and equipment onto the vessels. The dockage will include at least 1 lift for the department vessels which are 23.5 feet in length with at least 1 transient slip. At least one slip should accommodate a vessel up to 10 feet in width. The dockage will include plumbing to attach at least 2 water outlets to allow for washdown. A decontamination shower shall be placed under the landing leading out of the bulkhead. The dockage shall include overhead led lighting to facilitate low light - no light operations and at least 2 Covered outdoor GFCI electrical outlets. The dockage shall include a ladder at the end of a catwalk with a weight rating to facilitate a fully dressed out diver (600lbs). The vendor is responsible for running and securing electricity.
