Construction Manager at Risk for Emergency Generators at Fire Stations 13 and 14

Fire Station #3 The existing 45KW generator is to be replaced with a new 50KW generator at Fire Station No. 13, located at 1915 Jefferson Ave., Fort Myers, FL 33901. The scope of this project will include design, permitting, and construction services. The project will consist of the removal of the existing generator and the installation of a new unit supplying all the existing load at the station. The contractor is responsible to provide all conduit and wiring. A new 50 kW diesel generator (120/240V-1phase with sound attenuated enclosure and fuel tank, 2 wall, sub base), automatic transfer switch and docking station are required. A new exterior concrete pad with bollards shall be built to mount the new generator. Fire Station #14 The existing 30KW generator is to be replaced with a new 60KW generator at Fire Station No. 14, located at 4520 Cummins Court, Fort Myers, FL 33905. The scope of this project will include design, permitting and construction services. The current unit only provides power to a portion of the station’s critical functions. The project will consist of the removal of the existing generator and the installation of a new unit supplying all the existing load at the station. The contractor is responsible to provide all conduit and wiring. A new 60 kW diesel generator (120/208V-3phase with sound attenuated enclosure and fuel tank, 2 wall, sub base), automatic transfer switch and docking station is required. A new exterior concrete pad with bollards shall be built to mount the new generator.
