2022 Tar and Chip Street Improvements

The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to complete double fog seal tar and chip of roadways, and maintenance and protection of traffic. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. PA Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply to this contract. All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned. Immediatel Questions may be submitted through PennBid's "Questions" tab on or before 10:00 A.M. on Friday June 17, 2022. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties. Salem Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Operation and Maintenance of Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Operation and Maintenance of Transportation.
