Solid Waste Collection, Recycling and Disposal

All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder, addressed to Tamara D. Twardowski, Borough Manager, with the indication on the lower left-hand side of such envelope "Bid - Solid Waste Collection, Recycling and Disposal" DO NOT OPEN. All documents, Bid Bond, Affidavits and other accompanying the bids shall be contained in the bid envelope. No bids will be accepted after such date and time, and any bids received after that date and time will be returned to the bidder unopened. For any reason, Collegeville Borough reserves the right, in the exercise of their sole discretion, to reject any and all bids. Collegeville Borough reserves the right to waive any non-conformity with respect to any bid or any error with respect to the same. Bids may be held by the Borough of Collegeville for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids, for the purpose of reviewing and investigating the qualifications of the contractor prior to awarding the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. Bid Bonds or other guaranty will be returned as soon as practical after award of the contract and receipt of a signed contract and required bonds from the successful bidder.
