Description | Questions are due in writing no later than June 29, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. (CST). All Requests for Proposals must be in the City of Schertzs possession on or before the scheduled date and time (no late BID will be accepted). The City of Schertz reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses, waive any or all formalities or technicalities, accept the response or portions of the response determined to be the best value and most advantageous to the City, and hold the responses for a period of 120 days without taking action. The City of Schertz reserves the right to accept responses from more than one firm determined to be the best option for the City. Respondents are required to hold their responses firm for the same period of time. The work proposed in this contract includes, but is not limited to: 1. Establish stormwater controls 2. Pull existing well pump and remove and replace existing well piping, well pump motor assembly. 3. Demolish two existing small steel tanks and pad. Remove conflicting underground piping. 4. Provide temporary piping and electrical connections to maintain ability to use pump to fill remaining storage tank, and utilize irrigation pumps to site. 5. Install new plant piping to connect new storage tank to existing system and to connect existing well to new storage tank. 6. Install new 12,500 gallon galvanized, lined, storage tank, with the concrete foundation,tank vent, ladder, drain, overflow, hatches, associated appurtenances. 7. Reconnect existing electrical connections to existing onsite pumps and well pump. 8. New light pole and foundation 9. New concrete pad for existing pumps. Reassemble pumps on new pad and provide start up services to confirm functionality remains. 10. Miscellaneous site and other work necessary or incidental for completion of the project PHASE1 Installation of temporary storm water pollution prevention plan and removal of well pump/motor and piping. Replace with new well pump/motor assembly and well piping. PHASE2 Replace fill piping on site to existing galvanized tank. Demolishing existing steel storage tanks, and underground piping in conflict with new construction PHASE3 Install new piping, concrete foundations, and storage tank. PHASE4 Final grading and facility startup. Any miscellaneous construction items necessary for completion of project. |
