Description | Bids shall be submitted for the Following Prime Contracts: 7900-22-01-PC Plumbing Construction Question Deadline 01/04/2024 at 3:30 PM ET Questions will be accepted until end of day. Responses to questions will be answered in issued Addenda. All RFIs to be sent in writing via email to Conor Magee cmaqee@corepqh.com Construction of a new 15,000GSF municipal building and associated site improvements for the Borough of Swissvale, including compliance with current local and federal guidelines listed in Exhibit A. 2. Obtaining all required permits. 3. Temporary fencing, protection, and traffic control measures. 4. Final closeout and cleanup. The project consists of construction for the new Swissvale Municipal Building including administrative offices, police station, multipurpose room, and site improvements including a public plaza. All bidders are advised that they use these documents at their own risk and are expected to check periodically for any addenda or revisions that may be posted. A certified check, bid bond or a combination of both totaling an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Base Bid PLUS any Add Alternates and made payable to the Borough of Swissvale, must accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and/or to waive any informality, infirmity, omission, defect, irregularity and/or disqualifying error in any bid. The Borough anticipates awarding Contracts within forty-five (45) days of the bid opening. No bona fide bids shall be altered or withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. All bids shall be clearly marked with contractor's name and Prime Contract number and name. All addenda, except addenda extending the bid deadline, will be issued no later than Friday, January 5, 2024 Dust and Airborne Particulates: Prevent deposition of dust and other particulates in HVAC ducts and equipment. 1. Cleaning of ductwork is not contemplated under this Contract. 2. Contractor shall bear the cost of cleaning required due to failure to protect ducts and equipment from construction dust. 3. Establish condition of existing ducts and equipment prior to start of alterations. B. Airborne Contaminants: Procedures and products have been specified to minimize indoor air pollutants. 1. Furnish products meeting the specifications. 2. Avoid construction practices that could result in contamination of installed products leading to indoor air pollution |
