| Description | A brief description of work in the project follows: • Roof Size is approximately 40,000 sq. ft. • Tear-off existing membrane down to the structural deck and installation of a temporary watertight roofing membrane. Deck type varies with each roof area. • Insulation system for Base Bid shall be cellular Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC). • The replacement membrane assembly consists of the application of PVC single-ply membrane fully adhered to the insulation. Scope of Work includes installation of new perimeter wood nailers and edge metal. • Work includes all sheet metal fabrications shown on the contract documents and as specified. • Roofing membrane installation shall be required on-going inspections by the membrane manufacturer during the installation process and will be eligible to receive a 20 year NDL material and labor warranty, full-system including the LWIC and membrane. |
