2022 Overlay Project

Bids will be delivered to 833 South Spruce Street, Burlington, Washington. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. This resurfacing project consists of a 2-inch structural overlay of Fairhaven Ave, Anacortes St, and Cascade Highway. Construction includes, but is not limited to: Hot mix asphalt; grinding; pavement markings; erosion/water pollution control measures and traffic control. The Engineer's estimate is $600,000. Should the suc- cessful Bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the Bid Proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Burlington. No Bidder may withdraw their Proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before Award of Contract, unless said Award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
