Description

The project generally consists of: Base Bid:. Construction of a 300,000 gallon composite and steel, elevated reservoir with associated waterline and site work. Additive Alternate 1 : HMA paving of the access road. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, money order or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount ofsuch bid proposal. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Omak will be accepted. All bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors that will perform work on the project amounting to ten percent (1.0%) or more of the contract amount. The City of Omak is an Equal Opportunity and .Affirmative Action Employer. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (Small, Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses) are encouraged to submit bids. All work performed on the project will be subject to prevailing state wage rates. This project is partially funded through the Washington State Department of Commerce with state funding. Award, of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency. Rejection of Bids: The City of Omak reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informalities, or irregularities and accept the proposal that is in the best interest of the City. The award of the Bid is contingent upon available funding. Bidders are notified that all bids are likely to be rejected ifthe lowest responsive bid exceeds available funding limits. In the event all bids are rejected for this reason, this project may be deferred for re-advertising for bids until a more competitive: situation exists. DBE Goals No DBE goals have been assigned as part of this Contract.
