Description | Reference Number 0000317721 Services to be provided by the Contractor will include but will not be limited to: demolition and removal of existing plumbing cabinets and electrical items, installation of an HVAC system adequate to heat and cool the area, adding a sink a CMU surround and soap dispenser, install new lighting, relocate electrical outlets, remove and replace acoustic ceiling tile, repair and sand drywall, paint. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. Generally, the work under this contract includes remodeling of existing utility operator workspace. The work consists of removal of cabinetry, removal of acoustical ceiling tile (ACT), removal of, removal of some conduit, and removal of an existing heater. The scope includes replacement of conduit raceways, patching existing walls, painting of walls, replacement of ACT and ACT grid, installing new conduit, installation of an adequate HVAC system, installation of a sink and soap dispenser, installation of new CMU for sink surround, and installation of new fire-retardant panels. The current vinal flooring will need to be removed for epoxy floor. Note: the removal of the vinal tile and the epoxy coating are not included in the plan set.
