Description

As of March 10, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 16, 2023. A. The work to be performed under this Contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals required to perform the proposed construction as indicated in the Specifications, shown on the Contract Drawings and/or as approved by the Towns Designated Representative. B. In general, the work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization 2. Temporary Protection and Fencing 3. Roof top asbestos abatement. 4. Removal of existing skylights and replace with new energy code compliant roof infill assembly. 5. Removal of existing Roof down to structural decking and replace with a new energy code compliant roof assembly. 6. Remove existing copings and replace with new wind resistant metal copings. 7. Provide new structural metal decking and wood tongue and groove decking in areas where skylight removal occurs. 8. Remove and replace existing roof drains with double tier drains. 9. Install a permanent OSHA compliant ladder. 10. Install supplemental structural steel clips at horizontal wall sun louver connects to the exterior wall. 11. Remove and replace exterior insulated HM door at lower roof. 12. Install miscellaneous structural wood framing at roof. 13. Install new lintel and masonry opening above lower roof. 14. Provide new hatches, curbs and guard at main roof. The Town of East Hampton reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, all in the best interests of the Town. Each proposal must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid package, in a sealed envelope with the name of the bidder, and the bid name marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. A 10% bid deposit and a Certificate of Non-Collusion must accompany all bid submissions.
