Description | The work to be performed includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the replacement 8" signal heads with 12" LED signal heads at 9 intersections along Sunrise Blvd; the replacement of traffic signal controller cabinet at Sunrise/Folsom Blvd intersection; furnishing, installation and testing of advanced vehicle detection systems, along Sunrise Blvd at 9 intersections, and installing 30 solar-powered speed feedback signs along Sunrise Blvd and Folsom Blvd in the City of Rancho Cordova as well as other items and details not mentioned above but described in the Special Provisions or shown on the Plans. Bidders are hereby notified that this contract is subject to the Davis-Bacon Federal minimum wage rates and State prevailing wage rates. Pursuant to Section 110 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and Section 1770, et. seq. of the California Labor Code. This project has established a DBE goal of 18%, which includes all certified DBEs at time of Bid. Bidders and contractors performing work under this advertisement are further bound by the requirements of President's Executive Order 11246 as amended by Executive Order 11375; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Section 109 of Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; the Davis-Bacon Act; the Copeland "Anti- Kickback" Act; and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
