Description

In general the work consists of replacing existing system with a new cyclone dust collector and all clampable 22 GA ductwork. There will be 14 collection points for this system. There will be a bleed in tap of 8” round for future machines if ever needed. All joints will have 1’ of static Dissipative Polyurethane for final connections. New dust collection cyclone will be mounted outside on concrete pad. A new 100% outdoor air gas-fired air unit will be installed for make-up air with supply duct and grille into the room. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Base Bids will be received as follows: A single lump sum bid for All Work. The following two forms are attached: Facility Security Clearance Background Check Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment in Confinement Training Both forms must be signed and returned to Joe Dettlaff by noon on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Only bidders who have been certified by DOA as a qualified and responsible bidder in the MECHANICAL division of work may bid on this project. All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects over $50,000. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin’s prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
