Construction Contractor for Cured-In-Place Culvert Liners

The work under this contract shall consist of preparing existing culvert for installation of curedin-place culvert liner, bypass pumping or flow division, installation of liner and all cleanup. Traffic control will be setup and maintained as needed by the Portage County Highway Department. A minimum 3 working days notice shall be given to set up traffic control. All material and work performed shall be in accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications 2023 and the Project Special Provisions. Bidding and construction will be based on the enclosed Bid forms. The Portage County Highway Department will clear an area of 5x 5 at each end of the culvert(s) to allow room for construction of the culvert liners. A minimum notice of 5 working days notice shall be given to allow the completion of this work. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to OWNER by 2 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The Portage County Highway Department (OWNER) is accepting sealed bids for a cured-in-place culvert liner project, on CTH X, Town of Dewey. The contract completion time is 3 working days with activities complete by September 15, 2023. If Alternates #1 and/or #2 are selected, one (1) additional working day per alternate will be added to the contract. Items of work include preparing, furnishing and installing cured-in-place-pipe liners. All material and work performed shall be in accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and the Projects Special Provisions. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked CTH X, Town Of Dewey, Cured-In-Place Culvert Liner Project . The OWNER reserve the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids that best serves the interests of the OWNER. Portage County Board of Supervisors meeting, depending on the OWNERs needs, budgets, and schedules.
