Miscellaneous Aggregates and Road Gravel

It is the intent of the City of Kalamazoo to enter into a term contract for the purchase of miscellaneous aggregates and road gravel, and for their delivery to various work sites throughout the City as requested by the Public Services Water Division, Public Works and Central Stores. Other agencies may utilize the contract on a minimal basis. Questions about this IFB should be directed to: Department Contact: Anthony Ladd, Public Works Assistant Director (269) 337-8717 The contract will be in effect for a one (1) year period beginning on or about September 1, 2022 or October 1, 2022. The City may renew this contract for four (4) additional one-year periods. Renewals shall be upon mutual agreement of both parties and shall be subject to the availability of funds, need and the renewal and/or cancellation options as specified herein. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received. Other factors include, as an example but not limited to, delivery time, conformance to specifications, incidental costs such as demurrage and deposits, etc.
