Arizona State Hospital Demolition of Wick, Juniper and Granada

his Project consists of the demolition of 4 buildings on the Arizona State Hospital (ASH) campus: Wick & Juniper wings (100,407 sf), Granada Building-2 story (27,893 sf), Pump House #1 (60 sf) and 5 Trailers standing on F Street, together with all items shown in the Construction Documents including but not limited to: ? All Underground Tunnels, utilities, concrete SOG and footings ? The owner has cut and capped all utilities, fireline and power to the site. ? APS will disconnect all power to the site and remove all APS transformers and light poles. ? Removal of all perimeter fencing. ? Maintain the existing storm sewer and keep all stormwater intake grates clear. . ? Original chilled/comfort heating water lines have been capped at the Pumphouse by ASH. ? Original Domestic hot and cold water lines have been terminated by ASH ? Existing fire alarm system, smoke detectors and annunciators will be disconnected by Owner. ? Drain and remove the Granada elevator oil/hydraulic fluids. ? Removal of all tunnels and backfill to 80%. ? Miscellaneous Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and special systems subcontractors needed for a complete and code compliance removal of all buildings and systems. LANDSCAPING ? Following demolition of buildings and all underground tunnels and utilities the site will be left clean as a water retention basin and stabilized with decomposed granite. ? Trim and rake clean to curb line shown ? Protect, water and save all existing trees shown on the Construction Documents. ? Remove all excess debris ? Power sweep the perimeter asphalt roads.
