London Pedestrian Bridge Maintenance

MAINTENANCE DESCRIPTIONS: VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL AND STAIRS/NOSING This work shall consist of the following: o Remove all loose, bad and de-bonded concrete, membrane and coatings. o Repairs (if required): o All structural repairs should be made with MasterEmaco T 1061 Repair Mortar. Properly prep and coat all exposed rebar with Masterprotect P 8100 zinc based primer. 1/2 " - 1 1/2 " neat 1 1/2 "+ - extend with 3/8" clean round pea gravel. o All non-structural repairs and leveling should be made with Masterseal 350 epoxy and aggregate. Masterseal 350 mixed with 16-30 sieve aggregate at 3:1 ratio (aggregate: epoxy) sanded to refusal 0 - 1/2 ". Masterseal 350 will adhere to concrete and polyurethane membranes. Sand epoxy to refusal to insure membrane adhesion. o Powerwash surface clean. o Solvent wipe existing coating clean with xylol. o Remove and replace all bad, loose and debonded sealant with Masterseal NP 1. o Rout and seal all dynamic and cracks larger than 1/16" with Masterseal NP 1 Urethane Sealant. o Clean, prime (Masterseal P173) and install NP 1 Sealant at all metal surfaces (railings, drains). o Install cove bead of NP1 Sealant at all changes in plane (walls, columns). o Install Masterseal M 200 at 25 mils (60 sq ft/gallon) over all exposed concrete. o Install two coats of Masterseal TC 225 Topcoat at 20 mils (80 sq ft/gallon) and backroll approximately 1/3lb/sq ft of 16-30 sieve quartz aggregate into it. o Use Masterseal TC 225 in Tan color.
