2022 Chip and Seal Project - Freedom Township

2022 Chip and Seal Project Bid Opening will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Freedom Township Town Hall at 7:00 P.M. 8966 State Route 700, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than September 13th, 2022. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Portage County and the Portage County Engineer as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Engineers estimate of cost for this improvement is $123,927.00 The Freedom Township Board of Trustees reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Work shall improve Stamm road in Freedom Township by installing Single Chip and Seal Item 422 as per plan, Center Line Striping. Work shall also include improving Slagle Road by installing a Double Chip Item 422 as per plan, Center Line Striping.
