Description

VPU (HVAC) and Fire Alarm Upgrades at Yorkwood Elementary School #219 for Baltimore City Public Schools. The Work consists of the following: 1. The furnishing and installing of a complete addressable voice fire alarm system for the Yorkwood Elementary School Building #219 as described herein and as shown on the drawings. The work covered by this project includes the furnishing of all equipment, labor, materials, and performance of all operations, including temporary protection and required scaffolding associated with the installation. 2. Provide new signage for all doors and exits. 3. Provide scaffolding and temporary protection as required to provide the required work in the auditorium, stage, multi-purpose room and boiler/mechanical room areas. Any removal and reinstallation of the existing seating to accommodate scaffolding is the sole responsibility of the contractor. The scope of this project is to provide air conditioning via vertical packaged unit heat pumps.
