City Hall Elevator Replacements

This bid will be for elevator modernization of the two (2) existing elevators based on the attached specifications, at the City of Rockford City Hall, located at 425 East State St. These elevators shall consist of all the furnishings and installation of all elevator materials, drive motors, doors, traction cables, wheel chair accessible features applicable to law, and other materials deemed to be a part of the overall system as specified in the accompanying drawings, documents, and specifications (if applicable). Work shall be completed in full accordance with these documents, except by prior written consent of the City of Rockford. Work will be performed one (1) elevator at a time while ensuring the fully functioning second elevatoris available for use by the public while work is performed. Detailed specifications necessary for the completion of the described elevators are contained within this document. Documents attached are titled: 1.1 14-0500 CONVEYING SYSTEMS COMMON WORK RESULTS 1.2 14-0100 VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION - MAINTENANCE 1.3 14-2100 ELECTRIC TRACTION ELEVATORS Questions shall be received in writing until March 3, 2023 at 5:00pm; no questions may be submitted after this date.
