Description | The District is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid. The project work is located in Bothell, WA and unincorporated Snohomish County, WA. The purpose of this project is to: -Install six pressure reducing valve stations and associated site piping and appurtenances. -Install approximately 900 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main and approximately 430 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main on 208th Street SE (SR 524) near the intersection of the Bothell. Everett Highway (SR 527). -Install approximately 40 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water mam on 183rd Street SE at the intersection of the Bothell Everett Highway (SR 527). -Install 18 zone isolation valves. -Furnish and install approximately 125 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main at the intersection of Richmond Road and Filbert Road (SR 524) and demolish and wastehaul an existing PRV vault and ductile iron water main. -Complete modifications to five existing PRV stations including electrical, instrumentation, telemetry, programming, solenoid valves, and appurtenances required to modify the existing; PRV pilot systems in order to match the operation of the control valves at the new stations. Project work also includes temporary erosion and sedimentation control, dewatering, cathodic protection, pavement restoration, site restoration, electrical and telemetry, and other associated work items. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 180 days from the date of bid opening. District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) ofthe Total Bid Price.
