Stump Removal

To provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and expertise required to perform stump removal work in the City of Upper Arlington, Ohio as specified herein. Since the work is of a potentially dangerous nature and requires specialized expertise, it is to be performed by a company which derives the majority of its annual income from arboricultural work, and whose employees are highly trained and skilled in all phases of stump removal work, including work around utility lines. The 5.Work includes removal of all basal sprouts, brush, and weeds within three feet of the stump, and removal of stump. Stump and large woody roots within 12inches of stumps must be ground out to a minimum depth of 20inches unless underground utilities or obstructions are present and reported to the City. Large woody roots within 30 inches of the stump must be ground to a depth of 10 inches. Soil and sawdust may be left equal to or at a maximum of three inches higher than surrounding grade. Remaining stump chips must be removed by Contractor.
