Description | WSA B23014 Rehabilitation of Pumps 4, 5, 7, & 8 at the South Branch Pumping Station, including, but not limited to: removal, inspection, and rehabilitation of four (4) sets of large split case centrifugal 40 MGD pumps and 2,000 hp motors, demolition of existing baseplates, fabrication, installation, and grouting of four (4) new steel baseplates, installation of instrumentation, mechanical modifications, inspection of valves, and duty testing and vibration testing of the baseplates and pumps following installation. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment required by the Contract Documents for the subject Project. All bids submitted shall be accompanied by a bid security amounting to not less than ten (10%) percent of the total bid price or $20,000, whichever is less. This is a "Public Work" project and bidders are required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act and the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act. Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of the Division of Revenue Business Registration Certification Act (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44), Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27), the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act (P.L. 2018 c. 9), and the Authority's Small Business Set Aside requirements pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:13-4.2d. Restrictions on Political Contributions- Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 2005, c.51 and c.271 concerning disclosure of political contributions. |
