Description | Advertisement for Bid 2023 Street Maintenance Project Morgan County Corporation RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the Morgan County Clerk, 48 West Young Street, Morgan, Utah 84050, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, for the 2023 Street Maintenance Project for Morgan County Corporation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 1200 tons of asphalt overlay, 300 tons of asphalt leveling course, and other miscellaneous work as identified in the Contract Documents. LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located on various roads in Morgan County. COMPLETION OF WORK: Initial contract work shall be completed by August 31, 2023. The contract may be extended for two additional years if agreed to by the contractor and Morgan County. Additional details are provided in the Contract Documents. OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Morgan County Clerk's Office. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents may be obtained upon application and payment of a $30.00 non-refundable fee to the office of Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, 1150 South Depot Drive, Suite 225, Ogden, Utah. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price made payable to Morgan County Corporation. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions concerning this project shall be directed to the Project Engineer. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: Morgan County Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the County.
