| Description | The Work generally consists of furnishing, delivering, constructing, installing, connecting, and testing approximately 18,500 lineal feet of open cut 4 to 12-inch waterlines, fire hydrants, blowoff assemblies, residential service line re-activations, and existing waterline abandonment. Existing pipe material includes asbestos cement, PVC, and ductile iron. The Work also includes installation of one sanitary sewer manhole to replace an existing lamphole. The Work includes extensive scheduling, permitting, and traffic control. The construction of all water main line work shall include providing and installing all necessary piping, fittings, valves, hydrants, and all other appurtenances to complete a fully functioning potable water distribution system. |
