Design Services - Black Bob Road Arterial Mill and Overlay 135th Street to 151st Street

Designed improvements will include 2” milling and asphalt resurfacing, asphalt base repairs (as needed), spot concrete curb and gutter replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, ADA ramps, potential storm water improvements, pavement markings, fiber improvements, and signal detection improvements. Design will also include geometric improvements at 138th Street, including a designated right turn lane in each direction as well as parking lot modifications. In addition, it will include a southbound designated right turn lane at 139th Street and median modifications at 146th Terrace. Design services will include survey of existing conditions, utility coordination, acquisition documentation needed for any right-of-way or easements, developing construction plans in accordance with Olathe design standards and specifications, cost estimates, assistance with bidding of projects for construction and assistance as needed throughout construction.
