Taylor Street Curb and Sidewalk Replacement

This project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material to remove and replace existing curbs, sidewalks, drive approaches, and ADA curb ramps on Taylor Street from Delphos Street to Calumet Street. Bids received after the aforementioned deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened. Copies of the detailed specifications for said services and the necessary bid documents are on file in said Board of Works' Office where copies may be obtained. Each bid shall be submitted on a BOW Approved Bid Form, a copy which may be obtained at the Board of Works Office and a Financial Statement. The BOW reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in submitting a bid, whichever is in the best interest of the City of Kokomo. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to the contract amount before commencing work. The Wage Scale for this work shall not be less than the prescribed scale of wages as determined pursuant to Indiana Law concerning minimum common construction wages. No bidder may withdraw any bid or proposal within a perior of sixty (60) days following the date set for receiving bids or proposals. The Owner reserves the right to hold any or all bids or proposals for a periord of not more than sixty (60) days and said bids or proposals shall be and remain valid and in full force and effect during said period.
