Description

Howard S. Wright is seeking bids for remodeling the University of Oregon Portland - Highland Hall. The scope consists of transforming a high-volume space, originally a gymnasium into a daylit, architectural studio space with offices and presentation areas. Finishes include repairing and refinishing the existing wood gym flooring, seminar rooms built out of MPP panels, pin-up boards throughout for presentations, and new flooring outside the gym floor. Clerestory windows will be re-introduced in the upper façade, to provide daylight and take advantage of natural ventilation strategies. Some exterior windows will be introduced into the lower level exterior masonry walls. Door hardware will be replaced throughout the building.Roofing replacements/insulation to the upper vault as well as plaster repairs will be included in the scope.BOLI Wage Rates Apply.
