Water System Improvements

The work generally consists of installing electric in-tank mixers and related electrical work in three potable water storage reservoirs owned by the County Water District of Billings Heights. They are the Hilltop reservoir (one mixer), Lanier reservoir (one mixer), and the Ox Bow reservoir (two mixers). The Hilltop and Lanier sites involve installation of the in-tank mixers and related electrical work to get the power from the Hilltop and Lanier pump stations to the in-tank mixers. In addition to the installation of the two in-tank mixers at the Ox Bow site, other Ox Bow site work includes constructing a 12’ by 20’ wood-framed building and concrete foundation; installation of a chlorine sampler/analyzer/chlorine dosing skid and sodium hypochlorite chemical storage totes; deluge-type combination safety shower and eye wash station; 119 gallon electric hot water heater; water pressure booster pump; interior and exterior lighting; exhaust fan and ducting; building heaters; 50’ steel light pole and concrete foundation; installation of a boulder pit and related underground drainage piping; related electrical and plumbing work inside the building; and related electrical and plumbing work on the Ox Bow reservoir.
