Description

Work will involve removal of pavement up to 8” of asphalt and up to 6” of 21-A stone. Once the excavation is completed, the Contractor is to proof roll the subgrade, excavate additional unstable subgrade, if necessary and replace additional excavation with 21-A stone. After the subgrade is completed, the Contractor will put back 6” of 21-A material. The Contractor will also be responsible for replacing 6” of BM-25 base material and 2” of SM-9.5A surface asphalt. All work will be under the direction of a Town of Leesburg engineer or inspector.
