Description

The Work generally consists of providing the following services, including but not limited to rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete streets at various locations throughout the City. Rehabilitation strategies include traditional full pavement replacement of a roadway surface, which may be preceded by repairs to the base structure that may include partial or full depth base structure replacement as needed to provide adequate structural support for the final riding surface. Also, included may be curb and gutter replacement to remove significant ponding with current roadway profiles expected to be maintained. A thickened roadway edge may be prescribed when edges are milled into the existing base structure to allow for a structural enhancement with a thicker final course. Thickened edge improvements may also be considered on roadway sections with heavy loading. Additional ancillary construction may include construction of concrete bus pads and ADA ramps.
