Description To install a six-inch diameter ductile iron water main along Martin Street, Jefferson. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Traffic control. The road may be closed to allow construction; 2. Saw cut the existing pavement to allow trench excavation; 3. Install approximately 1300-linear feet of six-inch diameter Class 350 ductile iron water main with associated appurtenances; One mechanical joint wet tap on the existing six-inch diameter water main; 4. One fire hydrant assembly; 5. Five long and short side domestic water service transfers; 6. Pressure test and chlorinate the new water main; and 7. Remove from service the existing two-inch diameter water main.
