| Description | The project consists of the design and construction of a 4.1 million gallon elevated water storage tank including the following: Design, fabrication, delivery, erection, inspection, testing, painting and disinfection of a fluted column style welded steel water storage tank, design and construction of a reinforced concrete tank foundation by the tank manufacturer, installation of water piping to the tank and within the tank, construction of new electrical service and equipment, control equipment, process instrumentation, system integration, interior and exterior lighting, paved access drive, stormwater basin, sidewalk, fencing, and miscellaneous items of work. The tank manufacturer is required to demonstrate the ability to successfully design, fabricate and erect a fluted column steel elevated water storage tank of similar size and to have constructed at least five fluted column style elevated tanks that have been in service for at least five years. |
