Description

**As of August 25, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. The Owner will receive sealed Bids for furnishing of all materials and labor for the Phase 2 of the Northeast Ogden Drainage Project, Ogden, Champaign County, Illinois. Payment for each set shall be made in currency or by check, bank draft, or money order payable to Berns, Clancy and Associates. Each such payment will not be refunded. Partial sets of documents will not be provided. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, bank cashiers check, or properly certified check in the amount of $12,500.00. A Contract Bond in the total amount of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The project consists of installation of approximately 4,700 feet of 8-inch through 15-inch diameter storm sewer pipe, approximately 20 manholes or inlets, multiple connections to existing drain lines, restoration of street and private driveway surfaces, grading and restoration of turf areas, traffic control, erosion control, utility service line adjustments, and other associated work. 7958-2 The Contractor shall be required to provide certificates of insurance as indicated in the project documents. The Contractor will be required to comply with all Federal, State and Municipal laws and regulations, including those related to discrimination, prevailing wage, safety, bid-rigging, human rights, preferential employment of Illinois labor and equal opportunity employment. The Village of Ogden, Illinois reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities or inconsistencies in the bids, to reduce the scope of work to accommodate the project budget, to accept any proposals which it deems most favorable, or to continue the letting from time to time as deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Bids may be held by the Village of Ogden, Illinois for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
