Description

Original Set Aside: Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) Set-Aside (specific to Department of Interior). Scope of Work: The contractor will install the fencing, backstop and dugout for two Youth Softball field per specifications listed below: Backstop/fencing vendor/contractor to receive, unload and transport any and/or all playground equipment to Tuba City Boarding School Site. ¿ Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation, and all other services to complete the project in full. ¿ Contractor shall be responsible for mobilization cost of materials, equipment, office trailer, storage bins, and other construction items that need transporting to project site before start up. ¿ Unless otherwise specified, all materials, supplies or equipment offered by the contractor will be new, unused, of recent manufacture, first class in every respect, and suitable for their intended purpose. ¿ Contractor shall install two 12' high backstops with a 6' overhang at a 45 degree angle with 4" comer metal comer posts(SS40) cast in cement 48" deep. ¿ Contractor shall install 2 7/ 8" metal line posts (SS40) cast in cement 48" deep ¿ Contractor shall install top, mid, and bottom railing 1 5/8" (SS40) ¿ Contractor shall install a chain link 2" mesh that is 9 gauge, and use proper galvanized hardware to attach chain link to railings. ¿ All Dugouts will be 7' high and comer posts will be 2 7/ 8" (SS40) cast in concrete 30" deep, and covered with 9 gauge 2" chain link mesh. ¿ Fencing from dugout to outfield will be 4" high with the end posts of 2 3/8" (SS40) cast in concrete 24" deep. From end post to next post will be set at 120" and will be 1 7/ 8" cast in concrete 24' deep. All 2"chain link mesh will be of9 gauge material and attached accordingly. ¿ Contractor will install two (2) 4'high, 2" chain link gates. One gate per field. Gate frame will be constructed with 1 7/ 8" (SS20), and covered with a 2" mesh 9 gauge chain link. Contractor is responsible for cleanup after each day. Remove all debris onsite during the duration of this project. The contractor bears all responsibility and all associated or related costs with the removal and disposal of all debris from properties of the United States Government. The Contractor is required to comply with applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal, State, Navajo Nation and local Governmental laws, policies and regulations while engaged in the removal and disposal of debris. The Contractor shall transport the debris off the boundaries of the Navajo Nation to an approved EPA landfill. The Government is not responsible in anyway, financially or otherwise, for the success or failure of arrangements for disposal of debris between the Contractor and other parties. Contractor shall provide a copy of the manifest for the disposal of any and all debris to the Tuba City Boarding School Facility office for environmental records. Location: The Softball field Backstop Installation Project is located in Coconino County on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City, Arizona. (36.1350 Degrees North, 111.2399 Degrees West) Tuba City Boarding School is a K-8 School and serves 1400 students. Mobilization: Playground vendor/contractor to receive, unload and transport any and/or all playground equipment to Tuba City Boarding School Site. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation, and all other services to complete the project in full. Contractor shall be responsible for mobilization cost of materials, equipment, office trailer, storage bins, and other construction items that need transporting to project site before start up. Contractor shall provide a copy of the manifest for the disposal of any and all debris to the Tuba City Boarding School Facility office for environmental records. Specifications and Submittals: Contractor shall provide professional workmanship in procurement and installation of (2) new Backstops for a 200' field at the Tuba City Boarding School per specifications. All installation, material, hardware and designs should meet the requirements of all codes New Playground Project shall follow and meet Americans with Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAABAAG) codes and requirements. Contractor shall provide and submit drawings, submittals and all other pertinent information for installation of new fencing and backstops. Submit all original documents to COR. Contractor shall be responsible to Blue Stake all utilities, overhead and underground lines, before any construction can commence.
