Combined Sewer Overflow Control Project Year Two

Description of Work. Proposed improvement is officially known as City of Peoria Combined Sewer Overflow Control Project Year 2 The purpose of the project is to infiltrate stormwater runoff to reduce combined sewer overflows. The project consists of proposed stormwater improvements in the area of south Peoria within the following border streets: John H Gwynn Jr Avenue, MacArthur Highway, W Howett Street, S Western Avenue, W Butler Street, S Webster Street. The improvements include concrete pavers, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, turf grass, storm sewer, aggregate for the infiltration trenches and all incidental items shown in the plans. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount (100%) of the Contract Price. No Bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Bids for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing Bids The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, award shall be made to the low, responsive, responsible Bidder after the Bid evaluation has been submitted to the Agency and written notice of Agency approval has been received by the grantee.
