Description

County Road 883 Improvement Project is a milling and resurfacing project that extends approximately 3.8 miles from Azalea Drive to US Highway 331 in Walton County, Florida. Improvements include milling and resurfacing of an exiting two-lane roadway with paved shoulders and turn lanes as well as some minor drainage improvements, mailbox replacement, erosion control and pavement markings. This project is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as part of their County Incentive Grant Program (CIGP). There are two industrial parks, Freeport High School, Freeport Elementary School and numerous local businesses that utilize this roadway.
