| Description | Contractor services shall provide for service in accordance with the terms of the contract. Asbestos TEM analysis support. Contract is needed for continuity of services. Loss of contract will lose continuity, and has the potential to affect production asbestos work (nuclear and non-nuclear) for the shipyard. Laboratory services are required to support asbestos analysis above and beyond what the shipyard laboratory can provide. This supports emergency response, as well as information for personnel exposure notifications. Please see attached information. Desire is for base with three 1-year options. If/as more funding is needed, a funding document amendment will be provided within the contract time frame. Notification of sample analysis requests shall be telephoned into the contractor via phone and/or standard mail system and/or hand delivery if local. |
