2601 West 7th Avenue Renovation

Adaptive reuse project to convert a 32,000-square-foot warehouse at 2601 W. 7th Ave. in the Sun Valley neighborhood into a 92-bed residential care facility, according to a concept plan. The site would also include an outdoor meditation garden. Also known as a halfway house/corrections facility. As of December 2022, 2022, this project has been placed on hold while the city is in the process of acquiring the adjacent property. The project is not expected to resume until sometime in 2023.
