Description

Station 4 is used to produce and treat groundwater, to pump treated water to higher zones, and to provide a field office for utility staff. The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a facilities assessment for Station 4. The existing building structure, electrical systems, and site piping are aged and are under consideration for capital improvement. An initial assessment is needed to inform decisions about rehab or replacement of these assets.Consultant services included in the contract will include the assessment of the building structure, electrical systems, and pipeline condition. This assessment will evaluate the physical condition of these assets as well as their ability to meet Water Department level-of-service objectives, including capacity, efficiency, seismic resilience, and ADA compliance.
