Description | This bid package is for the demolition, supply, and installation of one (1) new ADA door and eight (8) new ADA operators on existing doors as well as all associated work (electrical, painting, et cetera) as noted on the plans and specifications, at Highland Gardens apartment building located at 1818 West Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53205. Items that shall be part of the bid include but are not limited to the following. Bids should include all that is required for this bid package per details provided. 1. Contractor shall demolish, supply, and install the following work. a. Demolition of one (1) existing ADA door. Re-use mag lock, electric hinge, auto operator, and frame. b. Installation of one (1) new ADA door. 18-gauge hollow metal door w/glass and preps for electronic hardware, painted to match existing. 4.5 x 4.5 heavyweight hinges. Push bar w/release for mag lock. c. Supply and installation of the following on eight (8) laundry room doors. i. Auto door operator: 313852 Stanley Magic Force Operator, or equal. ii. Electric strike: HES 8300 24v electric strike, or equal. iii. Wireless ADA push button: CE 635-BSM 4 Yz" wall mounted radio-controlled push plate, or equal d. All electrical as related to this project. e. All patching and painting as related to this project. f. Removal of all construction debris and waste from site 2. OSHA guidelines are strictly monitored. All contractors and workers on site shall wear appropriate protective clothing and gear (high visibility shirts, long pants, hardhats, safety glasses, etc.). Smoking is prohibited within the building. 3. Manuals, safety information, and warranties for all products used at Highland Gardens are required at completion of work or before. 4. The work shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days, or approximately one (1) month. The installation dates are to be as soon as possible. Print copies and electronic files of the bid documents may be obtained . Bid documents are available. Interested parties may view bid documents without registering.
