Central Zone Improvements & Optimizations Phase 2 - 281293 - City of Topeka

Plans call to replace transmission mains ,construction new lines, and upsize existing lines to improve hydraulic characteristics for the Central Pressure Zone. Improvements to the transmission system will include creating looped water lines in an effort to improve water distribution and fire protection. As of July 24, 2023, this project is currently in the City of Topeka FY 2024-2033 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
